As many are aware, OTBT has taken a bit of an indefinite hiatus as we focus our efforts on its younger "Sibling", TOP SHOT. Continue reading to learn more about our plan/status of OTBT & TOP SHOT. Hopefully, we can start offering OTBT again in the fall of 2025, but will have to play it by ear.
TOP SHOT, the younger "Sibling" to OTBT offers the same gameplay as OTBT at a fraction of the cost because of its design and batch production.
TOP SHOT has the same rules & objective as OTBT with a couple of additional scoring opportunities and features that are not available with OTBT. As is the case with OTBT, the top ball in the game tower at the ned of the round takes the round and the points.
TOP SHOT allows for points to be earned by landing on the flat surface (base) of the game tower. Cancellation points apply for balls coming to rest on the flat surface, and all players balls on the flat surface are cancelled by an opponents ball on top in the game tower
The wider flat base of the TOP SHOT game tower provides better stability during gameplay. Also, its now easier to remove balls from within the game tower by simply tipping, or lifting, the game tower, releasing the balls through the hole underneath. The smaller design of TOP SHOT also makes it easier for travel & storage than OTBT.
Our plan is to re-introduce OTBT at a later date (to be determined) as a high-end offering at a premium price with more customization offerings in the way of colors and graphics. The price point will probably be north of $250-$300 for a Pro Set (2 game towers) and $150-$175 for a Pro Solo (1 game tower). Think of OTBT as a "made to order" game with personalization which makes lower cost batch production infeasible.
